The Scheme provides defined benefit pensions for members and pensioners who were employed by the RNLI before 2007. The Scheme closed to contributions on 30 September 2012. If you have pension benefits in the Scheme, they will be paid when you wish to draw your pension in line with the Scheme Rules.
WTW is the Scheme's administrator. WTW calculate the pension benefits in line with the Scheme Rules. Contact WTW to request a pension forecast, or if you need to advise of the death of an RNLI 1983 Scheme member.

You might be surprised to learn it takes about 4-5 months to set up your pension payments. If you are a current RNLI employee, please give enough notice to get your pension payments set up, if you intend to be paid your RNLI 1983 pension benefits as soon as you leave the RNLI.
